Mausam To Dominate The Box Office This Week

Mausam is likely to dominate the box office week even though there are a couple of the other releases.

The film may not take a really huge start on Friday morning but the start should be good to decent at multiplexes while single screens likely to be low.

These type of love stories tend to have good long runs at the box office if they are accepted so if the film works it is likely to have good extended run at the box office until the end of October.

The other two releases this week are Speedy Singhs and U R MY Jaan.

Speedy Singhs is a Canadian film dubbed into Hindi and surprisingly is getting a pretty big release in India despite there not being a much of a market in India for these types of films. Maybe it is due to the Akshay Kumar factor who has a guest role in the film. Speedy Singhs may have had a chance in Punjab on another day but with Mausam having a heavy Punjabi touch and a major local release in Yaara Dildaara, Speedy Singhs will find it tough to find an audience in Punjab as well.

U R My Jaan will find it tough going at the box office.
