Jagjit Singh in critical state after suffering brain haemorrhage

Veteran ghazal singer Jagjit Singh underwent an emergency surgery yesterday after suffering a brain haemorrhage. The man with the golden voice is currently in a critical state on ventilator at Mumbai's Lilavati Hospital.

Jagjit Singh was supposed to perform live at a concert in Mumbai yesterday along with Pakistani singer Ghulam Ali, however due to this sudden emergency it had to be called off.
