Has Ra.One been inspired from this?

The Tron Legacy and Ra.One posters

Often Hindi films rely on Hollywood for innovation or larger-than-life ideas. This tendency is augmented further if the genre happens to be sci-fi fantasy.

So if Hrithik Roshan's Krrish bore visual resemblance to The Underworld, Catwoman and The Matrix, Bollywood's latest superhero flick isn't lagging in seeking brainwaves from Hollywood's stock of comic book hero adaptations.
And while Shah Rukh Khan's extravagant Ra.One may have everyone's curious side up, originality isn't its strongest USP. Observe the num
ber of influences/references in its promotional material to get the drift. Here, we saved you the trouble.

As soon as SRK showcased the Ra.One's first look with a teaser poster; social networking sites were abuzz drawing comparisons to the blue 'n' black, neon-lit allure of Tron Legacy.

Spider-Man's daredevil stunts and somersaults atop a moving train while engaged in a combat with Doc Ock are simply too cool to forget.

And since imitation is the best form of flattery, after Rajnikanth in Shankar's Endhiran, it is King Khan's turn to recreate some edge-of-the-seat drama with its action-packed thrills inspired from the second Spidey movie.

Things gets much more obvious with the second one.

Check out the likeness between SRK carrying a lifeless Kareena Kapoor, a la Christian Bale in costume with Katie Holmes hanging out of his arms in a striking poster of Christopher Nolan's Batman Begins.

Instead of wearing it in the centre, SRK's G.One wears his H.A.R.T on the side. An evident nod to Iron Man and the symbolic power source arc reactor he sports against his chest.
